The Rights of Man

Most excellent.

UPDATE: Gas Prices MythBusted

Just before Memorial Day Weekend.

Staying close to home? Here’s why.

UPDATE: As if anyone needed further explanation.

Excesses

At home and at the G8.

Let’s see now, here at home federal revenues will top $2 trillion this year, but federal spending will approach double that amount.

Meanwhile, Sarkozy calls for Internet regulation as it is a “moral imperative” needed to “correct the excesses and abuses that arise from the total absence of rules.”

Well now, we need this communication so we can educate each other about the elite who don’t even bother with EXISTING RULES to do the jobs they are supposed to do. Instead they want to misdirect and hide what they do from all of us.

Too late, folks, you aren’t invisible any more.

UPDATE: Speaking of Spending

I can’t, I just can’t – use a calculator anymore for these cost figures that are driven by the POTUS’ $3.73T budget released recently.

Here’s the breakdown and projections as explained (in summary) by HotAirPundit.

A recipe for disaster. Nothing else describes it.

“Live within our means”, BO? You should have had that mantra and worked it like you mean it – over two years ago.
You hypocrite.

UPDATE: By the way, BO, you remember saying this before, right? Going to halve the deficit? You know, cut the deficit by half its value? To do that required cuts, you know. So what happened to those cuts, BO?

Who Needs To Be Educated

About global warming, er, climate change, um – snowballs in he…….. oh, nuts.

Seems that John Holdren, cough – top science adviser to BO, thinks we don’t know anything about science. Particulalrly the life cycle of our own planetary system.

Gee, John, maybe you’ve been schooled a bit longer than some (I only have a Master’s in Engineering Sciences, does that count?) but that doesn’t mean you have all the answers.

Oh, by the way, how are you going to plug the earth’s volcanos, hhmm? And stop the methane from bubbling up from the Atlantic? Refreeze those (floating) icecaps and icebergs? (You know that ice, when it melts, takes up far less volume, right?)

Don’t treat us like fools. We’re on to the game. As for “green” energy sources, we are nowhere near break-even.

Gone Too Far

Who knew the EPA could apply retroactive regulations?

How’s that Hope and Change helping you now?

The POTUS Is Restless

Which explains a lot and why he cannot seem to focus.

(Found this in a comment in a post on Don Surbers blog. Unfortunately, can’t determine the original commenter for proper attribution.)

Air Travel Sanitary?

If you travel by air, a lot or a little, you should be sure to ask TSA to change their gloves before touching you.

Here’s an interesting story about someone who set off an alarm, was told by her husband to request TSA to change their gloves – and was let on through without being patted down.

If you didn’t read that story, ask yourself why that happened.

UPDATEx2: Idiocy Knows No Bounds

DHS Head Jammit Napolitano now claims a burning need to battle climate change as a security issue.

Who told her to jump out of the frying pan? Or, into it? What does temperature have to do with Homeland Security?
I mean, other than raising the heat under our collars????

Hint: Try collaring the bad guys and illegal aliens, Jammit.

UPDATE: What a load of crapola. I call BULL.

UPDATEx2: Apparently, Jammit just doesn’t get it. Her job that is. Here’s why – the family of slain Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry slammed DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano during the funeral of their son who was murdered while protecting the Arizona border, Tuesday evening Dec. 14, 2010. And Jammit’s response? Utterly despicable.

All Your Food Are Belong To Us

Thanks to the Senate, passing SB 510 late night last night (Sunday).
(Can we kick them out now, instead of having to wait until January??)

They did this, after objecting to the fact he Senate passed the Food Safety and Modernization Act on Nov. 30 by a vote of 73-25. But the bill was later invalidated by a technical objection because it was a revenue-raising measure that did not originate in the House — Senate staff had failed to substitute the food safety language into a House-originated bill.

(Imagine that. I don’t recall they had an objection when they passed that tax bill – before sending it to the House. Will wonders never cease.)

Impact on small family farms, and the 10 biggest lies about this SB 510.

Here is the Bill itself – for your reading pleasure.

Oh, and these, too:
