What A Crock

American pride is now racist in and of itself??????

Misguided Likely Poorly Educated Next Generations

That may be my title for this post, but I didn’t coin the problem.

Watch the video here and you will see just how significant this problem truly is.

Then, see if you agree with the title – and particularly the educator in the news video.

Someone is truly messing up the minds of the next generation(s).

It’s long past time to correct that and tell the truth why the United States has always been the place for people to start a new a better life.

If we lose our exceptionalism because of the likes of socialist/marxist wannabees, not only will no one want to come here to improve themselves …. but there may be nowhere else for anyone to go. Anymore.

It’s called – kissing it goodbye.

Is that what you want? Not me. Not anyhone I know. How about you?

Protesters Don’t Want Jobs

You figure it out.

And, while you’re at that, think about their supporters.

UPDATE: Occupiers Funded By Wealthy

I’ve been asking, and someone provided the answer:

Reuters: Soros Money Is Behind Occupy Wall Street Protests

Hey, Occupiers! If you’re dead set about redistributing wealth, why are you settling for a mere pittance from one of the wealthiest men on the planet?

Does it help to know that he is using you for his own purposes????

UPDATE: Occupy Wall Street’s Shocking Truth Uncovered
And then there’s this.
Still think the occupiers are respectful? Then take a look at this.

Payback Is A xxxx

Well, you know how it goes.

And now, so does Frances Fox Piven. Apparently, there were Tea Party like-minded folk in the audience.

Heh. Good for them. And there’s video at the Hot Air link. Sweet.

Cause And Effect

Thanks to Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak.

The following information is almost one year old.
But, it shows how many people have jobs working for Apple as of last year at this time.

Just think, two people, in a garage, started all of this:

SAN FRANCISCO | Wed Oct 27, 2010 7:53pm EDT
(Reuters) – Apple Inc said it has raised its employee headcount by more than one-third from last year, as it warned again that it expects its gross margin to fall in coming quarters.
Apple said it has 46,600 full-time employees as of September 25, up from 34,300 a year-ago and 32,000 in 2008.Most of that increase came in the retail segment, where Apple now has 26,500 employees, 10,000 more than in 2009. Apple has 317 retail stores, up from 273 a year ago.

Thank you, Steve & Steve.

Anybody with an Apple product, should thank you also.

How To Get A Better Education

By sending your kids to a school in a district other than the one you live in.
That, is what is being discussedd in this Wall Street Journal opinion article.

If you don’t go to read the whole article, think about this:

Other school districts use services like VerifyResidence.com, which provides “the latest in covert video technology and digital photographic equipment to photograph, videotape, and document” children going from their house to school. School districts can enroll in the company’s rewards program, which awards anonymous tipsters $250 checks for reporting out-of-district students.

Only in a world where irony is dead could people not marvel at concerned parents being prosecuted for stealing a free public education for their children.

And then there is this:

The defining difference between the two schools, writes the novel’s narrator, is parents: At the good school, “The parents were too American, too aware of the rights granted them by their Constitution to accept injustices meekly. They could not be bulldozed and exploited as could the immigrants and the second-generation Americans.”

Last, the point:

Students are still poisoned by low expectations, their parents are still getting bulldozed.

This is a very real, and far reaching, life-altering, problem.
It is the reason that so many are not learning truth, correct history and skills to better their chances for their future.

I am not advocating breaking the law.

I am advocating this issue needs honest, serious discussion and real solutions.

Otherwise, our culture changes. It is changing. And not for the better.

UPDATE: Unpatriot Acts?

The war on civilians, aka citizens, with cameras.

Watch the video. It will explain a lot.

UPDATE: War on photographing police continues:

In its ruling, which lets Simon Glik continue his lawsuit, the US Court of Appeals for the First Circuit in Boston said the way Glik was arrested and his phone seized under a state wiretapping law violated his First and Fourth Amendment rights.

Full court opinion here and more info at his link.

Excessive Raid on Raw Food

You be the judge, but I’d say this police action was way over the line and unnecessary.
