UPDATE: MD Talking Gas Tax What About the Feds?

Currently, the overall discussion here in Maryland is what critical effects a ten cent state tax increase will do to our monthly budgets?

Here’s another question, what is on the mindss of the Feds? How about raising the federal tax another quarter?

And we thought only the state we live in – was going to change . . the state we live in.

UPDATE: I learned tonite (Tue, 3/22/11) that I got the wrong impression from the FOX 45 News I watched the other night. Tomorrow, Wednesday, the state legislature will be voting to pass/reject the stae gas tax increase. Call your representatives!

For The Parents

How to respect, and keep to, the U.S. Constitution and our founding principles.

Basically, how to keep the future of this country as it should be.

By the Natural Born Citizen Blog and particularly, this article.

Red Handed

And underhanded also.

Pontiac, Michigan: Two Charged in Tea Party Election Fraud
Men were officials in Oakland Co. Democratic Party
Two former leaders of the Oakland County Democratic Party are facing a total of nine felonies for allegedly forging election paperwork to get fake Tea Party candidates on November’s ballot.

Bring Atlas Shrugs Pt 1 to Baltimore

Here is the movie site. Movie currently scheduled to play April 15th.

Click on the DEMAND IT button right side of web page. It will bring up another page where you enter minimal information such as gender, year of birth and zip code. (Uncheck the checked box.) Then SUBMIT.

It’s that easy.

Another Use for Duct Tape

Sealing Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner’s mouth. Apparently, this nimrod is now saying that the Administration will support a single global currency. (It appears this is at least 2 years old, despite going “viral” recently.)

Ahem, didn’t he make the Chinese laugh when he promised them that our dollar was on solid ground?

Is this guy on drugs, or something?

Wonder No More

That is to say, one (out of many) reason why people move out of city environments.

To have the overall risk raised, in other words – safety is forever compromised even moreso than before, to an entire community by lowering testing standards. Ask the citizens of Dayton if they want more “Barney Fife’s with guns” patrolling the streets. Why would they deserve this? Why should they even allow this?

How is it the job of Eric Holder, to tell a local police force that they have to hire less qualified people to enforce local laws?

Ask him. He thinks it’s a racial issue.

I say, it’s your lives, liberty and pursuits are now at stake – at risk – even more than they ever were before.

As a citizen, as many citizens, you should be incensed at this stance from the Head of the DOJ.

Wishful Thinking

Wow. Maybe there will be a job opening for BO soon.

I understand that the POTUS said, “it would be so much easier to be the president of China.”

Gee, does anyone think the possibility of that happening is likely? That is, given China owns a great deal of our country’s debt that, you know, was fueled these past two years by, ahem, our POTUS?

Well, we can certainly make it our job that BO gets a new job – come the end of 2012. What say? I just don’t think the line he will be standing in will be for a head of state anywhere else on the planet.

UPDATEx2: How Stupid Is This?

Apparently, Jammit Incompetano doesn’t know much of what is going on at our southern border what with all those bean bags flying around, or the American rifles being used by Mexican criminals (from DOJ) to shoot back at our agents.

In fact, judge for yourself when she suggests some bipartisan visits to that southern border (video in the link above).

How did she become Governor then DHS head in the first place?

As if I didn’t know.

UPDATE: Apparently, Mexico now wants an explanation about those guns that were smuggled into their country while under ATF’s watch/guidance. Now how about that.

UPDATEx2: An agent speaks out.

UPDATEx4: So Much for Civility

Wisconsin Republicans Receive Death Threats – Justice Department Investigating

Sigh.

Let’s hope the DOJ does some good here.

The Professor has a most cogent comment concerning Madison’s local police credibility.

UPDATE: Follow the money.

UPDATEx2: This Hot Air article has several updates since the passage of the bill.

And a death threat is also being slipped under Glenn Grothman’s office door.

And maybe, just maybe, some sanity will come from all this. As The Professor so calmly explains it. Let’s hope he’s right.

UPDATEx3: What a load of crapola, from the White House.

UPDATEx4: Bill signed morning of March 11, 2011.

UPDATED: Perpetrating Fraud Times Three

This article, published today 3/7/11, describes what I wouldn’t call “political payback” – but the father does.

Imagine yourself running for office, losing to an incumbent, making an announcement to run again – and having your three college students targeted for expulsion despite their excellent grades and attitudes.

Read it and pass this story around. Better yet, contact the college and let them know what you think of their supposed fraudulent activities in this case. (Might there be a Board of Regents to bring this matter to their attention? Hhhmm?)

UPDATE: The response from the college. And a poll/forum should anyone care to partake of them.

There are outside opinions on whether this story is true and/or accurate. Frankly, there may be no way for those of us on the outside looking in to tell 100%. There ought to be an independent investigation to determine if such students are being manipulated such as this.

But on the chance this is essentially true, it bears putting this in front of you. The rest is up to you.

And then there’s this.
