Weiner To Go

Well, he says he is considering it.

About time. If one picture is worth a thousand words, he gave quite the novel.

Glad I didn’t read it.

Hot And Bothered

The POTUS. Apparently, he went ballistic after Israel PM Netanyahu’s anti-suicide response to Barak’s plan for Bebe’s homeland.

You know, if our President loses his temper like this over an ally (still? Goodness, Bibi, please know that more Americans are on your side than not), why would we expect him to look out for our own best interests?

Remember November 2012.

Maybe, just maybe, this story is merely a story.

And yet, this morning The Jerusalem Post reports that Israel received an “ultimatum” from the US that negotiations with the Palestinians should resume.

To add a little fuel to the fire, BO appears to be losing a majority of the youth vote. Hhhmmm.

Voting Integrity

Looks like the majority believe in using proper identification so that American Citizens are the only ones allowed to vote for – American politicians.

Sounds proper to me.

Financial Future For Who?

Us? China?

There is way too much in the way of articles, essays, opinions to opine about here.

Instead, here are a few links to whet your whistle, or increase your angst:

China has dropped 97 percent of its holdings in U.S. Treasury bills, decreasing its ownership of the short-term U.S. government securities from a peak of $210.4 billion in May 2009 to $5.69 billion in March 2011, the most recent month reported by the U.S. Treasury. . . .”

29 Months into the most Left Wing U.S. Presidency and we are heading into an economic disaster.

More bad economic news.

I have one question:

How can one man, such as our President, solve this crisis when it is Congress that has helped him more than triple our indebtedness (and waants to spend even more) and our primary lender is separating itself from our poor financial dealings?

Very Bad Policy

And I would say idiotic in addition to being acknowledged, finally, to being THE reason our government’s agencies do a poor job of managing our country’s needs.

Pitiful, just pitiful. Get rid of this agency or fix it to be economical for itself AND the rest of us. The debt clock is ticking waaaaay too fast.

EPA Says It’s ‘Prohibited’ From Considering Costs When Issuing Air-Quality Regulations

Dain Bramage Demonstrated

By Georgetown students.

Having Joe Schoffstall walk around with a petition to ban conservative “hate sites” like Hot Air, Instapundit, Drudge Report – to name but a few.

Students should scream for their money back for being so poorly educated indoctrinated.

Thugs Unbounded

A summary of Wiscon’s troubles, compared to other states. And a few more tidbits.

Mark June 6 on your calendar for Wisconsin.

I agree with the last statement. The GOP better get its act together and be ready to fight as necessary.

Treasury to Tap Pensions

To fund the Government. And now, for you government employees, what are your thoughts on this?

The Obama administration will begin to tap federal retiree programs to help fund operations after the government lost its ability Monday to borrow more money from the public, adding urgency to efforts in Washington to fashion a compromise over the debt.

There’s a small graphic down the left side of the article displaying where the debt ceiling is.
Grab a barf bag and click to enlarge that graphic.

Because you are going to get sick when you see it.

Think Timmy will try to come after our private 401K’s next?

MD Special Session? Gas Tax Hike? Again?

According to O’Malley. And Drudge Report picked up the story, too.

Will history repeat? Is this O’Malley’s last hurrah before he leaves the Governorship?

I’m not a betting man, but someone else may be.

UPDATE: Fired Up

Ten days have elapsed since Gov. Rick Perry (R) asked for a federal disaster declaration, to get more US help to fight Texas wildfires.

One wouldn’t think it was – you know – some form of – payback? Sorta?

Nah. The POTUS, or his Administration, wouldn’t do that now would they?

UPDATE: How many days has it been since April 15th? Well, when you figure that out – that is how long it has taken for Washington to acknowledge Gov. Perry’s need for assistance in fighting these wild fires. More than 1.2 million acres later. Shameful. Or criminal neglect.
