Rhode Island Atty Gen = Grinch

The Rhode Island state government, in the person of the Attorney General, who’s behind this program to destroy kids toy guns.

Feel safer now? Feel powerful now that you are manipulating kids, AG?

Can you just wrap yourself in the pathetic lapse of idiocy? Or, you did that already, yes? Yes. Looks like.

Sheesh. For Christmas yet. Tell me, AG, how much of taxpayer money did you waste on this effort to mess up children’s minds?
Come on, the voting taxpayers want to know.

UPDATEx3: Freedom to Communicate At Risk?

Otherwise referred to as “Net Neutrality.” Tell me, what is wrong with the internet now?
I mean, other than those areas that one could restrict (if you felt necesssary AND if you would purchase software to protect your kids from) ………

Well, tomorrow the FCC will attempt to regulate the internet. I suspect they didn’t care to read the letter from the U.S. Senate.

UPDATE: Here’s how the FCC decision to implement this “net neutrality” may cost us. Yeah, this definitely needs to be challenged in court. This administration’s goal is clearly intended to drain us of most, if not all, of our discretionary income.

UPDATEx2: Another look at additional problems with this forthcoming regulation and its side-effects by the Washington Post.
Here’s one paragraph that explains the intrusiveness:

Discouragingly, the FCC is intervening to regulate the Internet because it wants to, not because it needs to. Preserving the openness and freedom of the Internet is non-negotiable; it is a bedrock principle shared by all in the Internet economy. No government action is necessary to preserve it. Acting only on speculative concerns about network operators and contrary to a decade of industry practice, the FCC is moving forward aggressively without real evidence of systemic competitive harms to cure, markets to fix or consumers to help.

UPDATEx3: Rep. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) explained on Hannity and her website how the FCC Internet Grab will be put right by the incoming GOP.
It can’t happen soon enough. What’s more, she did an excellent job in explaining the consequences of the FCC’s actions.

And an opinion at the Denver Post:

January 2011 Cannot Come Soon Enough

And the reason? (Or, reasons – but here is just one.)

Watch out: More Obama union pay-offs in the works
By Michelle Malkin • December 20, 2010 12:18 PM

They want our money, all of it – it looks like.

Also, as of 1:00pm news today, it appears there may be enough votes to pass the START bill.

Barney Frank Does Not Believe in Gifts

Of the financial kind, as an inheritance – he claims the heirs didn’t work for, or deserve it.

How nice. Just in time to replace Scrooge with – himself.

Video at The Blaze. If you can stomach it.

Psst, hey, Barney – did you receive any “gifts” from Fannie and/or Freddie?????
Own up now.

Oh, one more thing, Barney.

The government didn’t “work for” any percentage of that “gift” – now did they?
So why should “the government” get any portion of a family inheritance?

Unemployment Benefits for Millionaires

Yup. How about that. And guess who voted to keep that going?

From The Daily Caller
Senate Democrats on Wednesday defeated an amendment to pay for the $60 billion in unemployment insurance payments that were included in President Obama’s tax deal with Republicans, which included a provision that would have eliminated taxpayer-funded benefits for millionaires.

A total of 50 Democrats and two independents voted against the measure, sponsored by Sen. Tom Coburn, to cut a total of $156 billion in spending over five years.

UPDATE: Ignoring the Constitution Again

By having the U.S. Senate pass a funding bill (yesterday’s tax package that funds Obamacare) first THEN sending it to the House for their look see and vote.

What? They think we won’t notice? We don’t know our own Constitution?

We know it better than they do!

Oh, and here’s the voter tallies.

UPDATE: Rep. Michele Bachmann knows this also.

UPDATE: Nuclear Winter

Can you believe it’s – now?

Senate GOP leaders take heat over millions of dollars in earmarks

Thune and Cornyn faced a barrage of hostile questions about their earmarks by reporters from NPR, ABC News and NBC News.

“Going through this bill, there is earmark after earmark from the both of you, millions of dollars in earmarks from the two of you and from other senators,” ABC’s Jonathan Karl told Cornyn and Thune. “How do you have any credibility on this? Why do you have earmarks?”

And slowing the vote by reading the entire START treaty (heh):

White House press secretary Robert Gibbs on Wednesday blasted Republican opposition to the New START nuclear arms treaty, calling it a “new low in putting political stunts ahead of our national security.”

Sen. Jim DeMint’s (R-S.C.) call to read the entire treaty on the Senate floor in an effort to delay the ratification was described by Gibbs as “the height of hypocrisy.”

“While some express concern that the Senate doesn’t have time to debate the treaty, Sen. DeMint wants to waste 12 hours to read the text of a treaty that has been available to every member of the Senate and the public for more than eight months,” Gibbs said.

UPDATE: Sen. Jim DeMint backs down from reading the START Treaty document ….. man up, Jim.

UPDATEx2: Give That Man Legirons

For attempting a $48 Billion theft.

Of course, trying is one thing – if it is given to him – there is more than one criminal in cahoots here.

The Mother of All Earmarks…
Liberal Representative Emanuel Cleaver has proposed a whopping $48 BILLION EARMARK that would redistribute wealth to the inner cities.

UPDATE: $48 B … To one person? Friend? Operating a Child Day Care from his home?

UPDATEx2: Rep. Emanuel Cleaver Denies $48B Earmark

But Gateway Pundit has screenshots of his website and “drills down” so you can find it for everyone to see that it is there, as specified, on his website.

How about that? Fact checking doesn’t help much when you say something quite different does it, Rep. Cleaver?

UPDATE: List of Porkers

JammieWearingFool has the list of Porkers in the Senate.

Imagine my surprise, Sen. Mikulski is on that list.

UPDATE: Hhhmm. Sen. Cardin is on there also. How on earth could I have missed that?

Congress Job Disapproval At 83 Percent

Which means, their approval rating is at 13 percent.

This is according to the most recent Gallup poll published today.
What’s more, since October, the approval rating for Democrats went from 38 to 16 percent.
Down by half.

Merry Christmas, dolts. We now have the worst Congress on record, so far.
And the year isn’t even over yet.
