You be the judge, but I’d say this police action was way over the line and unnecessary.

From a U.S. Senator who should know better, but doesn’t.
Clearly, he doesn’t know the U.S. Constitution either. You know, the one he swore to uphold when he took his oath of office? Also clearly, he doesn’t even care to understand the fullness and richness of the First Amendment.
So, with all that money behind him (where’s his wife) it appears he is stuck in D.C.
No class. No knowledge. Just John “I apologize to no one” Kerry.

From this person, Froma Harrop.
What a shame, a simple distraction saves the evidence – instead of the disappearing comments from her site.
Oh well, whatever. This is what is referred to as True Colors, displayed perfectly at Hot Air.
How about this news item (with video), Froma? Is this uncivil or civil????

Police state.
Some police, just shouldn’t be. This one in particular since he has not a care for the First Amendment.
At HotAirPundit.
And another case. This time in Nevada.

House Committee Passes Amendment to Defund Illegal Obama Firearm Sales Reporting Requirement.
The Amendment was passed by a vote of 25-16.
The Rehberg Amendment, which was strongly supported by NRA, will defund the Justice Department’s controversial and illegal move requiring federally licensed firearms retailers in states bordering Mexico to report multiple sales of semi-automatic rifles.
Yesterday – Obama Administration Approves Illegal Multiple Sales Reporting Requirement
While the Rehberg Amendment is a critically important first step, it is imperative that you contact your U.S. Senators and ask them to cosponsor and support S. 570. You can find contact information for your elected officials by using the “Write Your Representatives” tool at www.NRAILA.org, or you can call your U.S. senators at (202) 224-3121. S. 570 currently has 29 cosponsors. To see if your senators are cosponsors, please click here.

UPDATE: Witness Tampering??????
As Gomer Pyle used to say, “Surprise, surprise, surprise!”
And what’s more, the perfect case for voter ID was put forth by this RI news article.
In a representative democracy, voting is sacred. It is how citizens can help change their government peacefully when they think it ceases to serve their interests and values. When the vote is corrupted by fraud, the legitimacy of the entire system is undermined.
That’s why Rhode Island should require that voters produce a photo ID at the polls.
“Voting should be at least as secure as renting a car, getting a library card or any of the other tasks that routinely require an ID,” said Secretary of State Ralph Mollis.
It would be nice, and proper, if more states would do the same (cough).
Don Surber has some more on this (h/t to you, Don). Be sure to read through the comments as well.

Think Project Gunrunner was only about the southern border with Mexico?
If you are a law abiding, gun owning citizen of the United States, should you be concerned? Very concerned?
And Alan West on Eric Holder. Also, Instapundit’s Glenn Reynolds.
