Video: Fallen SEAL’s dog won’t leave his side during funeral
It was a double whammy to me as, while I was watching the video, my own dog decided to climb up and lay on my chest while watching the video.
We have no idea (maybe some of us do) just how connected we are to our pets. And vice versa.
Prayers to all. Requiescat in pace.
UPDATE: Hawkeye finds a home with the Navy Seal’s Best Friend. Good for them both.
With a short video of Condoleezza Rice and William Hague speaking, honoring the event and our past President – Ronald Reagan.
As an additional sentiment, I offer to all a quote sent to me from a friend. I am sure you will appreciate it.
“The fact that we are here today to debate raising America ‘s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the US Government can not pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies. Increasing America’s debt weakens us domestically and internationally. Leadership means that ‘the buck stops here.’ Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren. America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better.”
SENATOR BARACK H. OBAMA, MARCH, 2006
The POTUS. Apparently, he went ballistic after Israel PM Netanyahu’s anti-suicide response to Barak’s plan for Bebe’s homeland.
You know, if our President loses his temper like this over an ally (still? Goodness, Bibi, please know that more Americans are on your side than not), why would we expect him to look out for our own best interests?
Remember November 2012.
Maybe, just maybe, this story is merely a story.
And yet, this morning The Jerusalem Post reports that Israel received an “ultimatum” from the US that negotiations with the Palestinians should resume.
To add a little fuel to the fire, BO appears to be losing a majority of the youth vote. Hhhmmm.
