“The Yankee empire has no limit to its manipulation,” Chavez said.
Gee, I thought he and our POTUS were friends.

Imagine that. Former DNC Chair Howard Dean spinning a story to make FOXNews a villian.
Too bad that Chris Wallace called him on it.
Why is it that Dean, and others like him, insist on being idiots and lie to us?

And how is that you may ask? It has been one year since the minimum wage was increased to $7.25. That’s 41% more than it was.
Here’s a blog referencing the Wall Street Journal article. Unfortunately, by going to WSJ you have to have an account to read the entire article. But the important part is shown within that blog.
Here’s my concern. Thinking about how companies don’t have control over a “minimum wage” is it any wonder that some of these companies are willing to risk hiring illegal aliens and paying less? You know, for doing the work “no American wants to do?”
Kinda flies in the face of reality, I’d say. Cause and effect, that is all this is.
Government mandates a minimum wage increase.
Small business companies can’t afford to pay.
Willing to pay less by hiring cheaper, illegal aliens.
Our people can’t get jobs because of that.

It seems the law of unintended consequences has hit yet again.
The major types of coverage for children — employer plans and government programs — are not be affected by the disruption. But a subset of policies — those that cover children as individuals — may run into problems. Even so, insurers are not canceling children’s coverage already issued, but refusing to write new policies.
Why can’t our legislators learn? Haven’t they any grey matter at all?
(Sorry. I knew the answer yet posed the questions anyway.)
