UPDATEx2: Dream Act Will Not Die

UPDATEx2: Again, Michelle Malkin brings to our attention tomorrow’s likely nightmare vote (aka, DREAM Act).
I URGE YOU TO READ THROUGH IT. Especially interesting is the ist of ‘misdemeanors’ this DREAM Act will erase.
A few:
Examples of misdemeanors in California:
(1) Assault, CPC § 240
(2) Battery, CPC § 242
(3) Domestic Violence, CPC § 273.5
(4) Criminal Threats/Harassment, CPC § 244
(5) Reckless driving, CVC § 23103
(6) Possession of Firearms, CPC § 12020

An excellent status update by Michelle Malkin.

Be sure to remember those that vote for this – and vote them out come 2011 or 2013.

UPDATE: The cost of this DREAM Act is estimated to be near $6.2B.

DHS-ICE Seizes Domain Names?

Huh? Pray tell, exactly how does this fall under their jurisdiction?

I’m cornfused. So our physical security and well being is in danger now because our enemies can hurt us through internet web page names?????

And these seizures can be done without due process?

This absolutely stinks to high heaven of a police state. Along with idiocy raised to heights unknown. Until now.

How do you explain this one, Jammit Napolitano? Because your feet aren’t even on the ground.

Illegal Alien Amnesty By Legislative Fiat

As best told by Michelle Malkin.

And guess who the latest sponsor of a deportation waiver is?

California Democrat Sen. Dianne Feinstein.

Now isn’t she just special?

Is It Any Wonder

That a good percentage of the public is no longer concerned about voting any more? It seems to me the ones that do is a dwindling amount. Becoming a minority in and of itself.

Which means, control of legislatures, local, state and federal governments is purely decided in the hands of a minority of the country’s entire population.

And here is why.

My point? The rubes making decisions to actually allow use/count votes from sources that have been REMOVED FROM THOSE RESPONSIBLE FOR THOSE SOURCES no longer CARE for the SANCTITY OF THE VOTERS SELECTIONS even though they claim that they do.

Think about that. How can anyone trust the validity of such voting materials when THEY ARE NO LONGER IN A CONTROLLED ENVIRONMENT TO ENSURE THE QUALITY OF THAT DATA. It is not only suspect, it is likely tainted. Such “discoveries” should only mean that these machines and/or materials should never be counted in any official capacity. It is untrustworthy. And how these machines/materials got out of their controlled situations in the first place should result in someone not only losing their (voluntary) job, but arrested and fined as well for doing such a poor (criminal) job in the first place.

This Isn’t Right

Portland residents will vote Nov. 2 on a proposal to give legal residents who are not U.S. citizens the right to vote in local elections, joining places like San Francisco and Chicago that have already loosened the rules or are considering it.

Noncitizens hold down jobs, pay taxes, own businesses, volunteer in the community and serve in the military, and it’s only fair they be allowed to vote, Rwaganje said.

Wait a minute. He lived here for 13 years and didn’t bother to become a citizen? What held him back? Why wouldn’t he want to become a citizen beforehand? He didn’t try?

As for the city, I have a problem with this approach. They could have helped him, and others, on the path to citizenship well before this. What the h-e-double-toothpicks is wrong with them?

If Only

If only, an elected Congressman/woman would consider legislation to be constitutional. First.

If only, that consideration wasn’t just left to the courts to decide, but in the legislative process itself.

If only, there were common sense applied up and down the line, including how a widely cited expert on the Supreme Court, responded, “How weird is that, I thought. Isn’t it a court’s job to determine whether or not something is, in fact, constitutional? And isn’t that sort of provided for in, well, the Constitution?” (Well, so much for being an – expert.)

If only, a progressive blogger – that writes in U.S. News & World Report, that such talk of requiring constitutionality is “just plain wacky.” (Wacky? Is that all that blogger has to describe it? Not, correct?)

Jonah Goldberg refers to this as creepy logic. I call it what it is.

This is how an elected official should be doing their job. In compliance with the Constitution. Daily.

Who Is Mad At Who Now

Let’s see, Calderon is mad at us for wanting to protect our sovereignty.

And now that Mexico puts up a border fence on their southern border, the Guatemalan officials are ticked with Calderon.

Can you just feel the love?

Anti-Traffic Camera Vote

Sadly, not here, but in Washington State Supreme Court.

The court refused to intervene in the scheduled November 2 election in the city of Mukilteo where residents had signed a petition forcing a red light camera and speed camera ban onto the ballot.

A very interesting read. Perhaps even for members of Campaign for Liberty (there’s a chapter in Washington involved in this effort apparently). Just sayin.

ICE To NICE?

See if you agree …

Obama’s administration is changing the direction for ICE to reduce threats of deporting millions of illegal immigrants aliens, even as the following states such as Arizona, Colorado, Virginia, Ohio and Texas are pushing to accelerate deporting them.

Well? Is this a form of amnesty or not? What does this mean for the 287G program? Is it still going to be in effect and utilized? Or?

By the way, it still does nothing to stop the flow of them from coming across the border into our country. How about it, POTUS?

Robotic Border Patrols

Not where you may think.

They are flying.

But is it enough? Nope. Just looking, aren’t they?
