Unintended Healthscare Consequences

From a recent study by McKinsey & Company. According to that study, it appears that Obamacare may cost 60 million employees their health benefit coverage. Don Surber focuses on that.

Since then, there is now considerable angst within the McKinsey & Company itself. And disagreements within and without.

There’s only one way to solve this poblem.

Defund and eliminate this unconstitutional piece of bad, bad, absolutely terrible legislation.

Waving Goodbye to Waivers?

It appears that Kathleen Sebelius, Head of Department of Health and Human Services, has some ‘splainin’ to do.

Seems the Obamacare doesn’t impart the authority to HHS to issue waivers.

Goodness! Did someone overstep their bounds? Will we ever find out for sure?

Stay tuned.

Trouble In River City

It seems that the POTUS doesn’t like the fact that Indiana passed legislation to cut off funds to Planned ParentHOOD.

So what does he do?

Well, I think Don Surber said it best, “What kind of man withholds health treatment for a million people just to keep money flowing to his buddies in an abortion mill?”

Financial Future For Who?

Us? China?

There is way too much in the way of articles, essays, opinions to opine about here.

Instead, here are a few links to whet your whistle, or increase your angst:

China has dropped 97 percent of its holdings in U.S. Treasury bills, decreasing its ownership of the short-term U.S. government securities from a peak of $210.4 billion in May 2009 to $5.69 billion in March 2011, the most recent month reported by the U.S. Treasury. . . .”

29 Months into the most Left Wing U.S. Presidency and we are heading into an economic disaster.

More bad economic news.

I have one question:

How can one man, such as our President, solve this crisis when it is Congress that has helped him more than triple our indebtedness (and waants to spend even more) and our primary lender is separating itself from our poor financial dealings?

Ironically Iconic

Sorry. Can’t stop laughing. This is priceless.

This couldn’t have worked out any better had they planned it.

Imagine. An abortion clinic wanting reader assistance to upload their photos to bolster their website.

Heh heh. Gotta love it. Pro-life folks absolutely filled it to overflowing.,

Dain Bramage Demonstrated

By Georgetown students.

Having Joe Schoffstall walk around with a petition to ban conservative “hate sites” like Hot Air, Instapundit, Drudge Report – to name but a few.

Students should scream for their money back for being so poorly educated indoctrinated.

UPDATE: Long Past Time To End SWAT Night-time Raids

And no-knocks.

See if you believe this story out of Tucson. And note that after the ambulance shows up, the police keep them from working on the veteran (that they shot 60 times) for an hour.

This is insane. There is no justification for this.

Be sure to let the video keep playing, there’s more similar stories.

UPDATE: Here’s more of a followup. I believe I agree with this assessment:

Only, Guereña never fired his weapon. Awoken by his wife with screams that men with guns were invading his home and threatening his family, Jose Guereña armed himself with a AR-15 rifle and crouched in the hallway. The SWAT team unloaded upon Guereña on sight. He apparently recognized the home invaders as police. He took 60 rounds, but never — as the Pima County Sheriff’s Department was forced to admit — took off his weapon’s safety as he was being killed

Conflicted

Yeah, Allahpundit hits a nerve (or more), I expect.

I think everyone should wake up and pay very close attention to the dealings up to and likely within the SCOTUS concerning any and all references/relationships of recent appointee Ms. Kagan with the Obamacare legislation.

Is her reputation at stake?

Ahem, as much as our own financial future? (Oh, forget all those waivers. Even the recent one where Nevada itself won’t have to worry about complying with Obamacare. If, that is, it isn’t terminated.)

You know, all those – waivers – are supposed to be relieving thosee that can’t afford Obamacare’s conscription.

Hmm. Anybody remember why all this started? Seems to me there was something about 47M, then 30M, people that couldn’t or wouldn’t pay for health insurance.

What are the waivers for again?

Incompetence From the Top Down

April Fools has been over for a bit.

So why would the White House think we would find their tacit admission that their 2012 budget plan wasn’t serious – funny?

This is beyond infuriating. This is unconscionable, ill-conceived, unwarranted and – to me – treasonous to the extreme since it detrimentally affects every – single – living (and yet to be) American in this country.
