UPDATEx2: Carney Full of Blarney

Apparently, Mr. Carney says that leadership doesn’t need to propose a plan.

Okay, so why is the White House waiting around for Congress then? They didn’t pass a budget for, what, two years now?? Is that leadership? I say, no. POTUS hasn’t offered a plan despite all his television appearances. Is that planning? If so, exactly what is he planning, hhhmmm?

There have been plans come from members of Congres in the recent budget/debt talks, sounds like some measure of leadership there, right?

I’ll let Jim Geraghty of NRO fill you in on the dialogue between Carney to Jake Tapper’s question.

It’s a doozy, and indicates Carney needs to go back to a school that teaches common sense.

UPDATE: Carney admits the WH has no plan. And then defends that position.
This would be funny if it wasn’t coming from federal officials. Yup. I’m not laughing.

UPDATEx2: Carney does it again when asked where is the President’s plan. I’d call this a circus, but how can it be when it is just one man giving these inane responses?

CBO Says POTUS Plan Increases Debt

So says CNSNews:

… the only budget proposal President Obama’s has publicly revealed in 2011 would, according to the Congressional Budget Office, increase the deficit by $26 billion this year, $83 billion next year, and $2.7 trillion over the next decade.

In short, the only budget proposal Obama has put forward this year for the public to review and analyze puts the federal government on a path to eventual bankruptcy.

Marco Rubio Tells It Like It Is

A fine speaker with a solid grasp of reality.

Where’s the President’s Plan?”

Our Own Governor O’Malley

I really wish he hadn’t done that. But I guess he doesn’t care since he can’t run for Governor after his current term ends.

So be it.

You know, Martin, in 2006 all the Democrate US Senators voted against upping the debt ceiling. Were they trying to undermine the Presidency then, too?

Huffin And Puffin Then Leavin The Debt Talks

Judge for yourselves. Apparently, the debt talks haven’t gone too well today.

“Eric, don’t call my bluff,” the president said, warning Cantor that he would take his case “to the American people.” He told Cantor that no other president — not Ronald Reagan, the president said — would put up with the treatment he was getting from the House majority leader.

Democratic sources dispute Cantor’s version of Obama’s walk out, but all sides agree that the two had a blow up. The sources described Obama as “impassioned” but said he didn’t exactly storm out of the room.

But then, here’s the scoop on just how, exactly, the Treasury has to operate should the debt ceiling NOT be raised.

Yeah. Pass that around.

Dollar stores are struggling.

A quote within the article:

“In other words, the economy is continuing to be worse, the Obama depression continues to explode,” he added.

Still think the economy is not tanking? Hhhmm, 1600?

House Reps Want Your Wages to Reduce Debt

These guys, specifically, signed on to a Bill HR 2411 – to have your employer (once you volunteer, of course) withhold a percentage of your salary for the purpose of reducing our nation’s debt. Now isn’t that – curmudgeonly of them?

From the Bill: Mr. CRAWFORD (for himself, Mr. TIBERI, Mr. FINCHER, Mr. LANDRY, Mr. DENHAM, Mr. DOLD, Mr. FLORES, Mr. GRIFFIN of Arkansas, Mr. AUSTIN SCOTT of Georgia, Mr. HUIZENGA of Michigan, Mr. PALAZZO, and Mr. GUINTA) introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on Ways and Means.

At least I don’t see any names from Maryland here. And I had better not.

Not tax deductible, he says. Now isn’t that the icing on the – where’d the cake go?

One more thing, why these dolts feel the need to do this when people can already send monetary gifts to the Treasury is beyond me. Haven’t they enough real work to do?
