Wishful Thinking

Wow. Maybe there will be a job opening for BO soon.

I understand that the POTUS said, “it would be so much easier to be the president of China.”

Gee, does anyone think the possibility of that happening is likely? That is, given China owns a great deal of our country’s debt that, you know, was fueled these past two years by, ahem, our POTUS?

Well, we can certainly make it our job that BO gets a new job – come the end of 2012. What say? I just don’t think the line he will be standing in will be for a head of state anywhere else on the planet.

Beneath Contempt

In 2008 Obama said that he wasn’t sure at what point a baby gets human rights. (Hint: rights are God-given. No one else determines rights.)

In 2009, Obama signed several pieces of abortion legislation including funding foreign abortions. And also signed legislation to use our taxpayer money to kill embryos in research. Obama also promised Pope Benedict 2009 that he would reduce abortions.

And now he will veto any bill attempting to defund Planned Parenthood.

Shouldn’t we call it by it’s real name? No-Family Planning.

(pssst: Hey, BO, you know that abortions means fewer taxpayers, right? What’s more, I do not want my taxpayer money paying for this – that is against my faith.)

Spot On Ann Coulter

Is she confused? I say – no. In fact, Ann made a funny and very salient point about the recent ruling by Judge Vinson calling the entire package of Obamacare being unconstitutional.

“If this is constitutional then Republicans should turn around and mandate that all citizens be force to purchase a gun and a Bible. And, there’s a lot more evidence that owning a gun and a Bible is better for society than everyone having to buy health insurance.”

Go ahead, Mr. President, make us all bitter clingers. Well, most of us anyway.

UPDATE: Soon To Be A Ponzi Scheme

Remember those Obamacare waivers to companies and organizations that cannot afford the Goverment sponsored healthcare plan?

Well, those waivers jumped from 229 to 729. This month.

Now, if this healthcare plan is great and wonderful, why are these waivers growing?????

UPDATE: Michelle Malkin takes another look at this problem. Titled: Waivers for Favors: Obamacare’s Escape Hatch

Butcher of Philadelphia

This is the sickest thing I have ever read in my life. An alleged “doctor” butchering, excuse me, murdering – I mean – performing (so-called) abortions. A “supposed” human being did this.

Kermit Gosnell. You …. Well, forget it, I have no words that others haven’t said about you, to you, already.

Michelle Malkin has an excellent writeup on this “person” and everything about him, his actions, his facility, practices and what not. Including the entire Grand Jury Report. One portion I give here (and Ms. Malkin does also):

“It is not our job to say who should be fired or demoted. We believe, however, that anyone responsible for permitting Gosnell to operate as he did should face strong disciplinary action up to and including termination. This includes not only the people who failed to do the inspecting, the prosecuting, and the protecting, but also those at the top who obviously tolerated, or even encouraged, the inaction. The Department of State literally licensed Gosnell’s criminally dangerous behavior. DOH gave its stamp of approval to his facility. These agencies do not deserve the public’s trust. The fate of Karnamaya Mongar and countless babies with severed spinal cords is proof that people at those departments were not doing their jobs. Those charged with protecting the public must do better.”

Go read Michelle’s column on this (How Mass Murder Gets a Pass), and – if you can stomach it – read that Grand Jury Report as well.

I need to take a shower after reading this as well.

May God have mercy on this creature named Gosnell. But I don’t know about that.

I want to know what our two Senators, Cardin and Mikulski, have to say about this.
Or, am I going to hear nothing but the sound of crickets?

Over Half USA States File

27 of 50 States Now Challenging Constitutionality of Obamacare in Court

I’d say that’s a sign. A really big sign. Question is:

Is SCOTUS, Federal courts, Congress and 1600 paying attention now? I mean, given that the House passed their bill to repeal Obamacare today, it would seem to me even if Sen. Reid STILL refuses to deal with this on the Senate side – there’s going to be hell to pay.

REPEAL !!!!!

Repeal Obamacare Saves Money

So says the CBO in an updated analysis. $540 Billion over 10 years.

And – wait for it – repealing the bill would also eliminate $770 billion in taxes. It’s the tax hikes in the health care law (along with the Medicare cuts) which accounts for the $230 billion in deficit reduction.

Heh heh. Yeah. Work it, Congress. 236-181.

The POTUS Is Restless

Which explains a lot and why he cannot seem to focus.

End of Life Is An Option Soon

Obama Returns to End-of-Life Plan That Caused Stir
By ROBERT PEAR
Published: December 25, 2010

WASHINGTON — When a proposal to encourage end-of-life planning touched off a political storm over “death panels,” Democrats dropped it from legislation to overhaul the health care system. But the Obama administration will achieve the same goal by regulation, starting Jan. 1.

More.

So “death panels” becomes “die soon options”? How magnanimous of our elected officials.
Merry Christmas, kids. The adults idiots have spoken.
/sarcasm off

UPDATE: Obamacare’s Mighty Fist?

Similar to DHS’ Jammit Napolitano?

At least, that’s what Jeffery H. Anderson, at the Weekly Standard, is pointing out. And by how that reads, I’d venture to say this monstrosity of a bill (2,700+ pages) had better not see the light of day.

Here’s the first paragraph of Mr. Anderson’s opinion article, go read the whole thing:

Not satisfied with the colossal amounts of power that she would acquire under Obamacare if it isn’t repealed, Health and Human Services (HHS) secretary Kathleen Sebelius has issued a 136-page “rule” that will now give her (and her subordinates) largely unchecked power to pass judgment on the prices of health insurance throughout the United States. Notwithstanding the fact that 43 states already regulate and approve health insurance premiums, Sebelius claims that we need an additional, more centralized, protection against insurers’ unseemly ‘profit motive.’ But a far greater threat to the future of American republicanism is posed by the impulse that animates Sebelius and the bulk of the Obama administration: the power motive.

UPDATE: Even at the state level, even present care can be outright horrendous as well as punitive. Here’s a case where a patient in a government run mental hospital almost died due to neglect, wins a case against the hospital only to be billed for care to the tune of $1.7M. The judge decided the patient wasn’t to be the one to win that argument. Ain’t life grand?
