Senate Majority Leader Reid (D-NV) plans on holding a vote next week involving the military’s “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy. This will be contained within a defense budget legislation package.
I wonder what page this “language” is on?

So say the Senate Republicans.
According to Sen. Jon Kyl of Arizona this issue was discussed just before recess and that every Republican was absolutely supportive of the idea that there shouldn’t be any increases in taxes.
Imagine that. Just before recess. Just before some state primaries. Just before November.
How about that.
Not quite new News, but this is a story that perhaps not many are aware.
Our Administration enforced a moratorium on drilling for oil in the Gulf, and turns around to give Mexico a loan of $1 billion. To drill for oil.
Kinda makes you a bit hot under the collar, doesn’t it? Yeah.
And drug lords are entering our sovereign country and killing our citizens and lawmen.
See?
Just thought I would remind you of our Administration’s priorities.

Perhaps. Or, it’s sheer hutzpah to say the Dems are not going to lose control in the House, as Steny Hoyer says.
Here’s my question to Rep. Hoyer. How’s the sand look under there when you open your eyes?

Now is it?
Government Motors pays the CEO a $9M package.
(Psst. Here’s a real gem in the article: GM’s SEC filing said that Akerson agreed to the pay package after the government’s pay czar approved it Wednesday. Pay czar Kenneth Feinberg stepped down on Friday and was replaced by Treasury Department lawyer Patricia Geoghegan. The pay czar is responsible for setting pay guidelines for top executives at the four companies still getting exceptional assistance from the government’s $700 billion bailout fund.)
New Jersey Governor Chris Christie delivers a top flight answer to and about the Teachers Union.
I know, a bit off topic for this site, but – this is a demonstration of the kind of truth that we so desperately need up and down the levels of government.

Government records show the Obama Administration has increased the federal debt by $2.5260 trillion in his first 19 months in office, which is more than the cumulative total of the national debt held by the public that was amassed by all U.S. presidents from George Washington through Ronald Reagan.
Somehow, I don’t think I’d be proud of that if I were President.
Actually, I’m already mortified. Worst. President. Ever.

Castro has a message to our POTUS.
Marxism in Cuba isn’t, and hasn’t been, working.
Big fat surprise. (yawn)

(Moving pictures) of an Idiot in Action.
Or is it hubris?
POTUS says he is opposed to extending the Bush tax cuts. That he opposes any compromise that would benefit the rich.
Who is the rich? At what monetary point is someone “rich”?
Let’s tick this off, okay?
$800B stimulus, Healthcare, Finance reform, another $50B (shh, it really IS a stimulus plan), creation of new govt agencies (ala Healthcare), creation of new govt jobs, needing 16,000 more IRS agents to monitor/enforce Healthcare rules and fines, spending us into a near $2T deficit in less than 2 years … unemployment near 10% nationally … let’s not forget that $113B that illegal aliens cost our economy nationally … (where is there any new, sustaining private enterprise jobs in all this? Wasn’t in Cash for Clunkers.)
Who is going to be “rich” when all this kicks in (tax cuts expiring and new taxes cuts away from your take home pay)? Is there going to be any small businesses left that can operate at all?
We used to be a nation where it was Liberty and Justice For All.
Now, the elite says it is Liberty For Just Us.
Feel happy that you are soon going to be paying your fair share? Spreading the wealth?
You know that feeling you are having right now?
Keep it. For next 9/14/10 and hold onto it until 11/2/10.
Be sure of your vote and who you intend to vote for. It is all we have left.
