Never Forget These Heroes Also

From a friend,

Never Forget

10 Year Anniversary of 9/11/01

I am moved deeply, after watching and listening to this beautiful speech by President George W. Bush commemorating this event of our Heroes of Flight 93.

It is the best speech I have ever heard.

Freedom and Liberty

Incompatible

With us, the U.S. A., free society, freedom, responsibility, free enterprise, family, humanity, equal justice, Golden Rule, love of life, happiness, U.S. Constitution, Declaration of Independence, Rule of Law, self defense, The Almighty God. In no particular order.

Sharia Law. Ain’t no way, no how.

Mosque Opposition from 65 to 95 Percent

That’s likely.

Not going to make you guess. Michael Moore says it should be built ON Ground Zero.

Apparently, he believes “in an America that protects those who are the victims of hate and prejudice”. Really? How about – MURDER? How about 19 Saudis KILLING American citizens that had nothing to do that day but to get to work early? What about those terrorists MM?

I am so glad I do not bother watching his (cough) movies.

Cretin.

Never Forget

I know I won’t.

As for other historic moments, I distinctly remember that day. Every minute.

We didn’t have televisions at work, it was approaching lunchtime when we heard someone turn up their radio to hear the news that a commuter plane hit one of the World Trade Center Towers. It wasn’t too long into that news when we heard a second plane hit the other tower. That was the moment we knew that we were under attack.

Little did we know until we got to our homes to see that there were two other planes involved.

UPDATE: New York (CNN) — Judson Box has never known exactly how his son, Gary, died on September 11, 2001. But an unexpected find nine years later has given him a glimpse into his son’s final hours. MORE …

UPDATE: Have We Over-Reacted to 911?

According to Fareed Zakaria of Newsweek, we have indeed.

After reading his article, I would have to say that I agree. Read it, a lot of good information there that we never got from anywhere else.

UPDATE: Apparently, Ted Koppel doesn’t get it. Being American, that is.

A Heinous Act

Federal officials are investigating a fire that started overnight at the site of a new Islamic center in a Nashville suburb.

I was asked about this story this evening while at an event, but I was not aware this had happened.

The few, or the one, that did – I hope is caught and charged accordingly.

We don’t do this, people. I don’t, pretty sure most of us don’t.

We are supposed to obey the Rule of Law in this Republic, aren’t we?
