Candidate for Baltimore Mayor Proposes New Tax

Otis Rolley said he would, if elected, propose a $1 per bullet tax on all bullet purchases in the city. The idea was part of an overall crime plan he unveiled Tuesday.

Do you think this will send the criminals to surrounding territories beyond city limits?

Oh yeah. Totally dumb.

Reaganomics versus Obamanomics

In their own words.

House of Representives approved their version, 234 to 190.

Our Own Governor O’Malley

I really wish he hadn’t done that. But I guess he doesn’t care since he can’t run for Governor after his current term ends.

So be it.

You know, Martin, in 2006 all the Democrate US Senators voted against upping the debt ceiling. Were they trying to undermine the Presidency then, too?

Huffin And Puffin Then Leavin The Debt Talks

Judge for yourselves. Apparently, the debt talks haven’t gone too well today.

“Eric, don’t call my bluff,” the president said, warning Cantor that he would take his case “to the American people.” He told Cantor that no other president — not Ronald Reagan, the president said — would put up with the treatment he was getting from the House majority leader.

Democratic sources dispute Cantor’s version of Obama’s walk out, but all sides agree that the two had a blow up. The sources described Obama as “impassioned” but said he didn’t exactly storm out of the room.

But then, here’s the scoop on just how, exactly, the Treasury has to operate should the debt ceiling NOT be raised.

Yeah. Pass that around.

Even Cheap Is Too Expensive

Dollar stores are struggling.

A quote within the article:

“In other words, the economy is continuing to be worse, the Obama depression continues to explode,” he added.

Still think the economy is not tanking? Hhhmm, 1600?

Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice Prosser Attacked

Relax. It’s not what you think.
Recently re-elected Justice Prosser has been attacked in articles claiming that he put a choke hold on a younger, bigger than he, Justice Ann Bradley.

There are different accounts, different claims, by at least three anonymous – but present (?) – individuals. Published by yet another – but is that story accurate and fair?

Rather than try to recap that, I point you to Ann Althouse’s article on this. I trust her more than anyone else on this. It is a very enlightening read with a lot of proper questions, and concerns, that Ann brings to the forefront.

My concern is how far will this go, and who will be vindicated?

Bill To Freeze POTUS Power To Grant Amnesty

Go for it, Rep. Lamar Smith (R-Texas).

He said that under the new guidelines ICE agents could defer the deportations of “millions of deportable illegal and criminal immigrants.”

“The Obama administration cannot continue to pick and choose which laws it will enforce,” said Smith in a statement. “It is outrageous that they have put illegal immigrants and their liberal political base ahead of the American people.”

Another Friday Deadline Looms

The 90 day point for the War in Libya that should be vacated by our troops.

Trouble is, our POTUS is more of an unconstitutional hawk than he portrayed when as a Senator.

He knows better. He refuses to follow the law when he feels he can get away with it.

The Professor has more on the War Powers Act and BO.

Remember, the President does not make law, it applies to him, too.

He knows that. Like I said above, he refuses to deal with our reality while trying to make his own.
