According to O’Malley. And Drudge Report picked up the story, too.
Will history repeat? Is this O’Malley’s last hurrah before he leaves the Governorship?
I’m not a betting man, but someone else may be.

As driven/dreamed/preferred by a multi-billionaire, George Soros.
Should we be concerned?
On April 8, a group he’s funded with $50 million is holding a major economic conference and Soros’s goal for such an event is to “establish new international rules” and “reform the currency system.” It’s all according to a plan laid out in a Nov. 4, 2009, Soros op-ed calling for “a grand bargain that rearranges the entire financial order.”
Yeah. I’d say so. Pay attention.

Currently, the overall discussion here in Maryland is what critical effects a ten cent state tax increase will do to our monthly budgets?
Here’s another question, what is on the mindss of the Feds? How about raising the federal tax another quarter?
And we thought only the state we live in – was going to change . . the state we live in.
UPDATE: I learned tonite (Tue, 3/22/11) that I got the wrong impression from the FOX 45 News I watched the other night. Tomorrow, Wednesday, the state legislature will be voting to pass/reject the stae gas tax increase. Call your representatives!

Not here – just yet. But look where it is – Bolivia. Up 73% for gas and up 83% for diesel.
A rather unhappy start for the new year. Question is, how and when will this impact us?

Thanks to the Senate, passing SB 510 late night last night (Sunday).
(Can we kick them out now, instead of having to wait until January??)
They did this, after objecting to the fact he Senate passed the Food Safety and Modernization Act on Nov. 30 by a vote of 73-25. But the bill was later invalidated by a technical objection because it was a revenue-raising measure that did not originate in the House — Senate staff had failed to substitute the food safety language into a House-originated bill.
(Imagine that. I don’t recall they had an objection when they passed that tax bill – before sending it to the House. Will wonders never cease.)
Impact on small family farms, and the 10 biggest lies about this SB 510.
Here is the Bill itself – for your reading pleasure.
Oh, and these, too:
