Squirminator

Ahnold no longer supports off-shore drilling.

What a shame. Where is he going to get the energy California needs now?

Speaker of the House Shouldn’t

Speak.

Trouble is, she did – and it is a doozy.

She held a news conference last week, during it she said the Bush administration kept secret that there would be a financial crisis in a matter of weeks.

But what she failed to say was that President Bush warned the Democratic Congress 17 times in 2008 alone about the systemic consequences of financial turmoil at Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. President Bush also put forward thoughtful plans to reduce the risk that either Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac would encounter such difficulties.

Truth, Speaker. Tell the Truth. For once.

Too Big To Be Successful

Gateway Pundit has more details involving what should be a real bonafide scandal.
That would be, that Big @#$% Deal where Obamacare details were kept from public consumption until after it was voted on.

Gee, I think I said something like that myself, say – around March 30.

Jim Hoft is onto something here, I’m quite sure.

PRESS RELEASE: Arizona Bill In Maryland

Delegate Pat McDonough will be introducing a Bill in the coming 2011 General Assembly session that will replicate the Arizona immigration law here in Maryland.

It is important to understand that such legislation simply restates a federal law to the state level. This does not change or add different legal requirements that are already enumerated at the federal level. Instead, this Bill will empower enforcement within the state.

As a candidate for the U.S. Senate, I, Daniel McAndrew, applaud and endorse Delegate McDonough’s attempts to properly apply the rule of law within Maryland concerning the issue of illegal immigration.

I challenge Senator Barbara Mikulski to also endorse this Bill, which will aid Maryland in controlling spiraling costs and unemployment of our legal residents. This Bill will go a long way to return fiscal and human responsibility to Maryland.

Global Bank Rules?

Enough said.

Well, so much for a country’s sovereignty.

A Dull Needle

Healthcare.

Yeah, Congress isn’t quite done with it. Now they want to regulate those insurance premiums. And just when you thought 2,700+ pages was enough.

Oh, the humanity. Wherefore art thou?

(Give you a hint. It certainly is NOT in Congress.)

7 Times More

That is how much more in the way of contributions, from employees of Goldman Sachs, our POTUS received – than President GW Bush got from Enron.

Wow. Where’s the heat on this from the Dems?

IRS Discloses Tax Data

The report reveals that the IRS made 7.6 billion disclosures of tax return information to federal and state agencies (up from 5.3 billion in 2008 and 4.5 billion in 2007).

Information overload?

From the comments: That’s roughly 25 disclosures for every man, woman, and child, in this country. If you group us into average family units of four, then it’s roughly 100 disclosures for every taxable family unit.

This alone looks like a very good reason to change to a Fair Tax system. Currently, this is within the house and senate as HR25 and S296.

I Won’t Say Thank You

And most folks I know won’t either.

Here’s the best synopsis why.
