Credit Card Reform

Now we will have the honor of being required to charge a minimum amount (determined by the store/merchant) of at least $10 before being allowed to use your credit card to purchase anything.

Who to thank for this? Senator Dick Durbin (D-IL).

Know what this means, don’t you? The government, in all its glorified stupidity, is now passing on to us the ability to spend more than we intend.

So much for watching out for the people, eh, Democrats?

Remember November, folks. It’s time to make History.

Iceberg Looms Overhead

Possible $3 trillion pension disaster.

And the businesses along with the unions are going to meet and “discuss” this.

Insanity

Expecting different results when repeating the same thing.

Our POTUS is a spendaholic. Another $50 Billion to fix roads.

The first stimulus was already supposed to do that.

How’s that saying again? Fool me once? Well it didn’t even do that much.

UPDATE: Have We Over-Reacted to 911?

According to Fareed Zakaria of Newsweek, we have indeed.

After reading his article, I would have to say that I agree. Read it, a lot of good information there that we never got from anywhere else.

UPDATE: Apparently, Ted Koppel doesn’t get it. Being American, that is.

Part of Economics 101

From our Treasury for God’s sake.

Piling Onto Healthcare Costs

By your own employer, perhaps.

UPDATE: Utter Nonsense

This is not only nonsense, but a complete waste of time, effort and (wait for it) our money.

Funding a pro-Palestinian ad campaign on billboards in Israel.

UPDATE: As I said. A complete waste of time. And effort.

We Don’t Need Dept. of Education

Because of Secretary Duncan’s Race to Waste Your Education Dollars.

The “money” line: “But grant applications are what RttT is all about, and they have made RttT the biggest waste of your education dollars ever.”

Right To Work

It brings jobs from those that tax those businesses until they can’t take it anymore.

Check it out. Is your state a Right To Work state? Is Maryland?
