Excuses Excuses

Sounds to me that the Head of DHS isn’t even going to try to do her job:

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano, whose agency is charged with securing America’s borders, told an audience in Washington, D.C., in reference to the U.S.-Mexico border, “You’re never going to totally seal that border.”

And it also sounds to me that the Mayor of Philadelphia is obstructing Justice:

Mayor Nutter has expressed concern about the human rights of all immigrants, regardless of their legal status.

Well then, he should discuss that with President Calderone. Legal status. So he is going to shield criminals. Right? Sure does sound like it.

UPDATE: Held Hostage

I’ll let REDSTATE and Senator Kyl tell you who is holding who as hostage(s) about border security.

Me? I’m waaaayy too angry to say anything further.

UPDATE: Here we go. He said, he said – it looks like. White House Lying? Kyl?

I’m still angry.

Feds Insist To Waste Our Money

By suing Arizona for copying the federal law (Article 4, Section4 – to protect the states) in order to protect themselves because of the $4B costs incurred by activities of illegal aliens.

There you have it. One of the 50 states of the United States has to do the job the federal government is supposed to do – but refuses. (Psst. Hey POTUS, we all heard you take the oath to uphold the Constitution. Got that?)

How crazy stupid is this?

Here’s a job for anyone interested. Read this about a Writ of Mandamus.

Unbelievable. Unforgiveable.

It’s assault. Plain and simple. On video. On a public sidewalk. There is no expectation of privacy there.

And what’s more, as a legislator, Rep. Bob Etheridge (D-NC2) should know that his job is not enforcement.

He’s wrong and he’s gone too far. So come election time, show him the door and tell him to travel – far away from DC.

Another Spectacular Billboard

In Arizona, no less. And just like others, the purchaser is keeping his (?) anonymity.

DOJ Doesn’t Read Any Laws

Arizona’s or the U.S. Constitution, apparently.

What’s more, the DOJ seems to think it important to have the SCOTUS overturn an Arizona immigration law (here’s the kicker, Gov. Napolitano signed that one) just because they want to. It looks to me like they are doing this under orders probably. Isn’t Napolitano head of DHS now? What the hey is going on? I am not implying that Napolitano is giving the orders, I am quite sure the readers here know I am referring to the POTUS.

They do realize we are paying attention, don’t they?

Like, what about ICE? What about the 287G program? Are they told not to deport anyone anymore? Whether they arrest directly or take from 287G compliant local officers? Just what kind and how much of dereliction of duty is it going to take before this administration totally destroys any semblance of law and order in this once fine nation?

Totally absurd.

Hopefully, eventually, we can refer to this entire administration as once-wassers.

Remember November. This year AND in 2012.

National Guard Not Armed?

Excuse me? What?

Even if the purpose of the Guard is to stem the flow of guns and drugs across the frontier and not to enforce US immigration laws, just how in the dickens are they going to do that without weapons?????

Tell me this isn’t a clip from the Sly Stallone & Wesley Snipes movie – “Step away from the drugs or you will be in trouble.” “Or else.”

I’d laugh, but this isn’t even remotely funny. Not. One. Bit.

UPDATE: I Quite Agree. Unequivocally.

This should not be happening in America.

At all. Ever. This is NOT what we stand for.

(Yes, I know I pointed to this story before. And not long ago (look back two posts). But it bears repeating, even if it’s just from another source.)

UPDATE: According to the MPD, they deny that any of its officers crossed into Montgomery County at any time.

Krauthammer is Correct

Lawless. (Indeed – our own enforcers even say it – that they will not enforce the law.)

And quoting a portion of Article 4, Section 4.

Just like it was mentioned before.

Arizona FAIR and Immigration Costs

Finally, what we really need to know.

Awhile back, FAIR (Federation for American Immigration Reform) calculated what was likely the cost burden Maryland has to put up with – being a sanctuary state.

Now, it’s Arizona’s turn.

The difference? Arizona passed legislation copying the federal law into their state law, and improving on it, to deal with their – ahem – illegal immigrant problem. It appears the costs of doing so will ultimately be to Arizona’s benefit despite the nonsense boycotts being bandied about.

Let’s see if Maryland can do the same math for themselves, eh?
