Ironically Iconic

Sorry. Can’t stop laughing. This is priceless.

This couldn’t have worked out any better had they planned it.

Imagine. An abortion clinic wanting reader assistance to upload their photos to bolster their website.

Heh heh. Gotta love it. Pro-life folks absolutely filled it to overflowing.,

UPDATE: Voter ID

Guess what? It’s up to the state. Hear that, Maryland?

Look who else has it, and is getting it.

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Gov. Scott Walker signed into law Wednesday a requirement that voters in Wisconsin show photo identification at the polls, marking the end of a nearly decade-long push by Republicans to enact it.

Be sure to read the comments also.

UPDATE: Apparently, the Governor of Minnesota doesn’t “get it”. Which only means the he has now REALLY ticked off the voting public.

Illegal Immoral Thin Skinned

Anybody want to guess who this is? On the count of, one.

POTUS. Apparently, anyone criticizing him is going to get a very interesting letter – from the IRS.

So. He isn’t going to wait for the suggestion of his, to Congress, to make a law calling for the documentation and releasing publicly who contractors give political contributions.

I have some friendly advice for Pres. Obama.

You get what you give. The clock is ticking.

By the way, this doesn’t mean the IRS is off the hook. Not. At. All.

UPDATE: Fired Up

Ten days have elapsed since Gov. Rick Perry (R) asked for a federal disaster declaration, to get more US help to fight Texas wildfires.

One wouldn’t think it was – you know – some form of – payback? Sorta?

Nah. The POTUS, or his Administration, wouldn’t do that now would they?

UPDATE: How many days has it been since April 15th? Well, when you figure that out – that is how long it has taken for Washington to acknowledge Gov. Perry’s need for assistance in fighting these wild fires. More than 1.2 million acres later. Shameful. Or criminal neglect.

Lost City of Atlantis Found?

Well, that’s what this Reuters article says – “U.S.-led research team may have finally located the lost city of Atlantis.”

It will be interesting to see the results of their findings on NatGeo. Tonight, March 13th, at 9pm and Tues evening at 8pm.

Preserving History

It is important to know the facts.

Otherwise, you could be taken in – by a lie.

Isn’t that right, Daily KOS? And others.

Thank goodness for Hillbuzz.

And more. Lots more.

Rhode Island Atty Gen = Grinch

The Rhode Island state government, in the person of the Attorney General, who’s behind this program to destroy kids toy guns.

Feel safer now? Feel powerful now that you are manipulating kids, AG?

Can you just wrap yourself in the pathetic lapse of idiocy? Or, you did that already, yes? Yes. Looks like.

Sheesh. For Christmas yet. Tell me, AG, how much of taxpayer money did you waste on this effort to mess up children’s minds?
Come on, the voting taxpayers want to know.

All Your Food Are Belong To Us

Thanks to the Senate, passing SB 510 late night last night (Sunday).
(Can we kick them out now, instead of having to wait until January??)

They did this, after objecting to the fact he Senate passed the Food Safety and Modernization Act on Nov. 30 by a vote of 73-25. But the bill was later invalidated by a technical objection because it was a revenue-raising measure that did not originate in the House — Senate staff had failed to substitute the food safety language into a House-originated bill.

(Imagine that. I don’t recall they had an objection when they passed that tax bill – before sending it to the House. Will wonders never cease.)

Impact on small family farms, and the 10 biggest lies about this SB 510.

Here is the Bill itself – for your reading pleasure.

Found Amelia Earhart’s Remains?

Maybe. A satellite took this picture, 10 years ago, and researchers found what may be human remains (being analyzed). Word is this island is near the intended destination of her trip.

I don’t know, this image seems a bit – familiar.
