UPDATE: Leading Indicators of Economic Disaster?

Large Corporations seem to already know what they have to do to remain solvent. Unfortunately, employees are not going to like it.

Not to mention the records-breaking national deficit.

Just remember those two words “deficit neutral.” Know what means? That both spending and savings would NOT CHANGE the deficit in any direction (up or down). Well, that can’t be happening now can it? Especially when the budget will force the US debt to soar to 90% of the GDP.

UPDATE: The radicals in Congress were not pleased that these corporations would go public with this devastating information. In response, democrats threatened to call for Congressional show trials to publicly humiliate these corporations.

ACORN Gets Its Cash

Imagine that. On the one hand, transfix the nation’s attention on the impending HC “deemed” vote this coming weekend.

While the other hand re-establishes government funding for ACORN.

Apparently we have money out the wazoo. It’s just that the Administration believes in spending future generations into oblivion. Well, come November let’s vote every one that we can – into oblivion.

Not Just Healthcare

Think corruption will end if (a mighty big IF) healthcare vote is defeated Sunday?

Guess again.

By The Numbers

Hhhmm. Not too good.

Unwavering POTUS Immigration Bill Support

So he says.

The basis of a bill would include a path toward citizenship for the 10.8 million people living in the U.S. illegally. Citizenship would not be granted lightly, the White House said. Undocumented workers would need to register, pay taxes and pay a penalty for violating the law. Failure to comply might result in deportation.

Really? Deportation?

Here’s my question. If and when they become Americans does this mean they will no longer do the work that Americans won’t do?

How about eVerify? Is the administration going to use that? Oh, and what’s the business this bill is going to include funding for improved border security? Really? Sure about that?

Cap And Trade May Be Changing

At least, that’s what these Senators say right now: Sen. Lindsey O. Graham (R-S.C.), Sen. John F. Kerry (D-Mass.) and Sen. Joseph I. Lieberman (I-Conn.). They plan to introduce next month an alternative to the national version of the Cap and Trade bill by focusing on industrial sectors instead.

And yet, it won’t be easy to try to pass this alternative.

Like the Healthscare bill, this is not the time to be jacking up costs that will only be passed on to us, the consumers. The economy will still be negatively affected – with more being laid off every day. The current version, and this alternate, needs to be tabled.

Entering The GOP At Ground Level

I don’t think we needed the LA Times to tell us, but nevertheless – okay.

‘Tea party’ activists filter into GOP at ground level
The conservative movement is urging its members to seek positions as Republican precinct representatives. Their goal is to remake the party – and U.S. politics – from within.

Frankly, I don’t see a problem here.

Dems Cost US $2.36T in Lost Oil Money

“No Profit for US in Oil.” Is that the new (or not) battle cry for the Democrats?

But they raised the debt ceiling by how much?? They willingly spent just one-third (so far) of the $787B Stimulus package so far. Where did that one-third go? And what about the rest since they can’t stop talking about a second (no, that’s a Jobs bill)?

I could go on. But I am sure you get the point. Congress and the Administration have very little, if any, math and budget skills.

Since they won’t listen to us, we have to turn them out.

UPDATE: Let There Be Light

Powerful and Coherent – Light. History in the making.

Could mean more jobs in development and manufacture.

UPDATE: Unfortunately, no. Not anymore.

Sen. Reid Kills Bipartisan Jobs Bill

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) is rewriting a jobs bill after Democrats complained of too many concessions to Republicans.

[Well now, don’t just just beat all? Now what do you suppose will be Obama’s reaction to this?]
