Sad. And yet, invigorating. Depending, of course, on one’s point of view.
After all, our healthcare and monthly budgets are at stake. To me, that’s a lot.

Way to go, Congress. Must be that looming election in Massachusetts that is bothering you, eh?
What? Parliamentary rules allows this? Wait, don’t those same rules require the presence of bill-type documents on the Floor while discussing them before voting on them?
So, if you lose a Senatorial seat in Massachusetts to a Republican (guess what, this is OUR hope and change), 60 votes is just too tough to acquire?

This is a House Representative that wrote a separate health-care reform bill that was suppressed by the Democrats in the House.
Listen to this Hot Air interview with Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI), and that page also has a link to his reform bill that would have been (I believe) a lot better than what we are facing now.
They just won’t stop spending.
They just won’t stop taxing.
Come November, they just won’t have a job anymore.
At least, that’s the Plan.

Of course, it means you have to change your religious belief and also become hard working Amish.

Senator Charles Schumer (D-NY), as a key negotiator on the Senate bill, backs the religious exemption. But is this just for New York?
