Shocking

For a little while. Only as much as we can afford, right, Senator Joe?

Message to you, Joe, we don’t need any such legislation piled on top of us like you did with Obamacare. Certainly not on top of the ever spiraling debt.

If anything, of those 50 that want to vote for it – we want those 50 to switch and vote AGAINST it! Along with those 20.

UPDATE: Held Hostage

I’ll let REDSTATE and Senator Kyl tell you who is holding who as hostage(s) about border security.

Me? I’m waaaayy too angry to say anything further.

UPDATE: Here we go. He said, he said – it looks like. White House Lying? Kyl?

I’m still angry.

Uncovered

So they haven’t a clue how to do the job except to whine about it?

Gee, where have we heard that before?

From Gateway Pundit:

The AP reported:

The panel appointed by President Barack Obama to investigate the Gulf of Mexico oil spill is short on technical expertise but long on talking publicly about “America’s addiction to oil.” One member has blogged about it regularly.

Yet another blow against “doing one’s job” in the government.

Unbalanced and Unchecked

You probably won’t remember this one, but if you do – get very nervous.

Former Inspector General Gerald Walpin was ‘fired’ by President Obama last year because he (IG Walpin) was investigating California mayor Kevin Johnson for misusing Americorps money.

And now, a D.C. federal judge has dismissed the wrongful-termination lawsuit filed by IG Walpin.

The law says the president must give Congress 30 days’ notice, plus an explanation, before firing an inspector general. But that’s not how it went down.

This lawsuit dismissal means that the White House will be able fire other inspectors general, as it fired Walpin, without fear of legal consequences.

And these IGs are supposed to provide for oversight of such responsibilities as demonstrated, for instance, by the President’s close friend, Mayor Kevin Johnson.

Yup. Our country’s fiscal health is in the very best of hands. Feel better now?

Feds Insist To Waste Our Money

By suing Arizona for copying the federal law (Article 4, Section4 – to protect the states) in order to protect themselves because of the $4B costs incurred by activities of illegal aliens.

There you have it. One of the 50 states of the United States has to do the job the federal government is supposed to do – but refuses. (Psst. Hey POTUS, we all heard you take the oath to uphold the Constitution. Got that?)

How crazy stupid is this?

Here’s a job for anyone interested. Read this about a Writ of Mandamus.

Lose Your Money Lose Your Job Lose Your Home

Overdramatic? Think so? You decide.

If this projection, and the Cap and Trade Bill come to pass – then who’s to blame?

We are staring down the barrel of a financial gun that will destroy our lives our offspring’s futures and our country.

Is that what you want? I most certainly do not.

Never let a fight take your rights or your way of life.

Nationwide Alert

Alert Issued for 17 Afghan Military Members AWOL From U.S. Air Force Base

But further into the article is this little gem – “They disappeared over the course of the last two years, and none in the last three months.”

Sheesh. No one learns. And we are hearing this NOW?

UPDATE: What In The Wide Wide World of ….

Is going on here?

Who told those barges to stop vacuuming oil from the waters along Louisiana’s shores?

UPDATE: Oh, these guys shut them down. Well, at least it was temporary. Thanks to Governor Jindal.

UPDATEx2: Boom. Available.

Yet, for some strange reason, Admiral Allen doesn’t seem to know about it.

TAPPER: I talked to a guy who runs a company in Maine that offers boom, and he has – he says – the ability to make 90,000 feet of boom a day. High quality. BP came there 2 weeks ago, looked at it, they are doing another audit today. He is very frustrated, he says he has a lot of high quality boom to go and it is taking a long time for BP to get its act together. Don’t you need this boom right now?

ALLEN: Oh we need all the boom wherever we can get it. If you give me the information off camera I’ll be glad to follow up.

Why not? Aren’t they supposed to know this without us having to tell them????

UPDATE: Apparently, there may have been a question concerning the quality control of the manufacture of the boom. Even so, my concern is that there may have been resolution – yet no one is interested in that it seems.

UPDATEx2: Manufacturer vindicated. Coast Guard – not so much.

What Feds Knew And When They Knew It

There’s no escaping this one.
Pictures from above and video of a meeting.

It is now over 56, 57 days since the Deepwater Horizon explosion and subsequent mile-deep oil volcano.

Lousy performance, 1600. And Congress.

You could have given a waiver of the Jones Act and accepted help from other countries willing and able to help us in a real time of need.

Instead, you fritter away our time our natural resources our money our patience.

And point fingers everywhere but where it belongs.

No votes for you anymore.
