Louisiana Purchase Finessed

On FOXNews Bret Baier this evening during the exclusive interview with the POTUS.

And that’s not all.

POTUS isn’t worried about “deem & pass” – but we sure the hell are.

To top it all off, according to Rep. Joe Barton indicates the CBO score will exceed $1T.

Soon At A Pharmacy Near You

What is happening in Washington State will not stay in Washington State.

And not just Walgreens either.

He Is For What He Used To Be Against

Like, we should be surprised anymore.

Steny Hoyer, D-MD, apparently doesn’t remember his tirade – or doesn’t care that he comes off as a complete hypocrite presently over the “Slaughter Rule.”

About to be a one track trainwreck.

Oh, let’s include the Speaker on this issue as well. Just 4 to 5 years ago in fact.

Not The Senate Bill You Are Voting On

With apologies to Obi Wan.

All pretense is gone. Long live the fibbers. … Or not.

Ramming Legislation We Do Not Want Or Need

Let’s see now, POTUS is going to be in St. Louis tomorrow to push his agenda in a closed to the general public meeting with select invited citizens.

Is this how our taxpayer money is to be used now? To speak not to us, directly, about such a major change to our economy and personal health care? I want my money back.

The next ramming event is scheduled for November 2, 2010. And it is our turn.

Vote on HealthCare Maybe 16th

It could be as early as the 16th, but likely this month according to various sources.
This newly re-crafted 2,000+ page bill is likely to add back in support for abortion.

My message is – scrap it. Either start fresh, or not at all.

In Rare Form

The real world view, as expressed by Dan Riehl – in a most direct and blunt description of the nuclear option and what it means.

Now he knows how the rest of us feel about this problem as dictated by the President.

Oh, and let’s not forget. Congress, too. Most of them anyway. But not all.

How Much Is A Vote Worth?

Well, that depends.

If you vote against earlier versions of a bill, and a second time but then become “undecided” – perhaps all you need is to get your brother a judgeship. And call it paid in full.

Let’s ask Jim Matheson of Utah.

After all this, I think we are all going to need Depends.

Cap And Trade May Be Changing

At least, that’s what these Senators say right now: Sen. Lindsey O. Graham (R-S.C.), Sen. John F. Kerry (D-Mass.) and Sen. Joseph I. Lieberman (I-Conn.). They plan to introduce next month an alternative to the national version of the Cap and Trade bill by focusing on industrial sectors instead.

And yet, it won’t be easy to try to pass this alternative.

Like the Healthscare bill, this is not the time to be jacking up costs that will only be passed on to us, the consumers. The economy will still be negatively affected – with more being laid off every day. The current version, and this alternate, needs to be tabled.

UPDATE: Just Who Is Misrepresenting Here

Seems clear to me. I just can’t believe what I hear from the Speaker of the House anymore. It is just too … mind-numbing.

And yet, the “most ethical Congress ever” … Rangel won’t step aside after his ethics slap. Will wonders ever cease.

UPDATEx1: Well, wonder boy just threw his entire staff under the subway.
