Hidden Records for 8 Years

Who do we know that has been hiding records?

Well, this time it is the SEC. You know, the Securities and Exchange Commission.
And guess which tax evader is involved?

The now current Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner, at the time the chair of the New York Fed, instructed AIG to keep that information from the SEC itself.

Related? Now an IG that oversees the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) is having issues. Hhhmm. Now where have we heard anything similar?

And couple that with the “Green Jobs” costs (the true costs) along with other, detrimental, budget-busting taxes, er – incentives, um oil price increases and whatnot.

Someone tell me again why the whole of Congress won’t be a part of this “plan”.

Oh, and besides – isn’t there also a “marriage penalty” barrier built into the IRS tax rules?

Rush versus Dodd Rumor

After lunch today, I heard Rush Limbaugh (welcome back, Rush) speak of why it is best for an elected official to resign/retire gracefully instead of losing a re-election (or other means of removal).

It is so that individual can come back as a lobbyist. Rush’s words.

Yet, here is a rumor that Countrywide Dodd could become Treasury Secretary!

Good Golly. Can you imagine that. Kinda makes you want throw a brick at the TV now doesn’t it? Or. Worse.

Not a Good Sign

Nope. It sure is not.

” … Toward the end of 2007, the total number of government jobs exceeded the total number of goods producing jobs. Welcome to the government payroll economy.”

And there is also no sign anyone is attempting to reverse this, which, of course, would mean that someone in authority believes in the free enterprise system.
