What surprised me was the nastiness of the comments that were left on this website!
Most don’t realize that a transcript is somewhat similar to closed captioning, you are reading someone’s poor spelling and/or grammar based on what the transcriber thinks they heard.
It is no different when a computer is used to do the transcription (voice recognition through technology isn’t perfect).
Not that I am attributing all of the comments on this issue, but some certainly.
