A Wyoming man has given more than $1.5 million to help defend Arizona’s controversial immigration enforcement measure in court, Gov. Jan Brewer’s office said Thursday.

How about that, a Patriot that knows how to put the money to best use.

An interview with Retired Lt. Gen. Jerry Boykin.
It is NOT okay to persecute Christians.
And Shariah Law is incompatible with our society as a whole. (My opinion.)

Sheriff Joe Arpaio now has until 9/10 to comply with a Justice Department request to explain his office’s “operations, policies and procedures” involving the arrest and detention of Hispanics, according to a letter obtained by ABC News.
Gee, sounds to me like the DOJ is putting words into the Sheriff’s mouth – trying to make it seem as though there is profiling, discrimination, bias going on.
Yet, the DOJ doesn’t seem to say anything about the violence and murders being perpetrated by the Mexican drug cartel members that have come across our southern border to perform their crimes on our citizens.
Unbelievable.
UPDATE: Here comes the lawsuit. Seems DOJ is claiming the following: alleged discrimination, unconstitutional searches and seizures, and having English-only policies in his jails that discriminate against people with limited English skills.
Cretins.
UPDATEx2: Apparently as a result of a Freedom of Information Act submission, ICE had cleared Sheriff Arpaio of any wrongdoing 5 months prior to the DOJ filing court papers against the Sheriff in 2010. Meaning, ICE investigated him in 2009 and now the DOJ is suing (in 2010) on those exact same charges back in 2009. Sheesh.

Yup. Not a misspelling. Really.
What this refers to is that the White House counter-terrorism adviser, John Brennan, stormed out of the Washington Times offices after being asked questions regarding what he previously said about individuals who become terrorists …
What we have here, is failure to keep control of one’s temper. Apparently. For someone in a high level position who is supposed to be consistent regarding our nation’s security.

GROUND ZERO MOSQUE IMAM FEISAL’S EXTREMISM EXPOSED: IN HIS OWN WORDS: “the United States has more blood on its hands than al Qaida,” Elimination of Israel, the N-Word, “Fahrenheit 911”
Yup. Gotcha, Imam.

Not Now. Not Ever.
Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf has been involved in a series of conferences to push Sharia law throughout the world and now attempting to force it down our throats here in the United States.
This is incompatible with our Rule of Law. Why is it that our elected officials fail to understand that?
By the way, if anyone thinks I am making this up – read this.
Oh, and Atlas Shrugs has a very interesting map.

Our nation, predominantly the southern part bordering Mexico, is in very serious trouble.
Our citizens and law enforcement are also in very serious trouble.
Property theft, damage, assault, death – all from people that don’t belong here.
And now, our national level politicians are in very serious trouble.
Because, for NOT doing their jobs (the U.S. Constitution says they should be doing) they will be out of a job come January 2011.
Make it so, voters. Vote against incumbents.

But it is not Sheriff Joe Arpaio.
This man is doing the job the entire Federal Government refuses to do.
He has a price on his head per the Mexican drug cartel.
And now the DOJ is going to sue him.
I mentioned this to Sean & Frank on WCBM one morning not too long ago. That the guvmint was also sending a message to the county sheriffs that participate in the 287G ICE program. Besides sending that message to Arizona’s Governor about their newly crafted SB 1070.
(I had no idea I was so prophetic at the time.)
The Administration’s message? “Don’t bother the illegals.”
Well, come November 2, 2010, we aren’t going to bother re-electing any incumbents.
We need to divide the government, folks. Single party control is not good for us.

“How is there a preemption issue?” the judge asked. “I understand there may be other issues, but you’re arguing preemption. Where is the preemption if everybody who is arrested for some [edit:other] crime has their immigration status checked?”
I couldn’t agree more.
“Why can’t Arizona be as inhospitable as they wish to people who have entered or remained in the United States?” U.S. District Judge Susan Bolton asked in a pointed exchange with Deputy Solicitor General Edwin S. Kneedler. Her comment came during a rare federal court hearing in the Justice Department’s lawsuit against Arizona and Gov. Jan Brewer (R).
