Hardly What I Would Call Christian

In fact, at this stage, I would rather Phelps’ Westboro Baptist Church look to a different direction – down – and just … go there.

Phelps is planning to go to disrupt the funeral for that 9 year old girl that was killed in Arizona at the Congresswoman’s event. Hateful, just hateful.

I really don’t want to swear here. I’ll wait until after I am done typing this. Just imagine what I might say. Go ahead.

Imagine.

Change Your Home Page

My Home Page is BING now. No longer Google.
Today, December 7, is the 69th anniversary of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor (1941).
This event was the reason we, as a nation, were pulled into World War II.
BING honors this day with a beautiful page with the memorial in Pearl Harbor.
Google does nothing.

My father, may he Rest In Peace, was in the Navy during those years.
His efforts, and many others, demonstrated their ultimate love for our country and our Right To Life.

Honor our Veterans. Every day. Not just this day.

Meathead

There’s a reason why he had that name. See if you can figure it out.

I did. Sigh, what a maroon. He’s still just an actor trying to live in and through the past.

Never Forget

I know I won’t.

As for other historic moments, I distinctly remember that day. Every minute.

We didn’t have televisions at work, it was approaching lunchtime when we heard someone turn up their radio to hear the news that a commuter plane hit one of the World Trade Center Towers. It wasn’t too long into that news when we heard a second plane hit the other tower. That was the moment we knew that we were under attack.

Little did we know until we got to our homes to see that there were two other planes involved.

POTUS’ speech.

If you want to read it. Apparently, POTUS is for the Mosque to be built near Ground Zero.

How magnanimous of him.

Requiescat In Pace

This morning getting in to work, I heard part of a news story on the radio that deeply bothered me. After I got to my desk and started listening to the radio, I learned about the passing of Stephen Wright, fellow Republican and (too short a time) acquaintance.

I am still reeling from the news myself. I first met Stephen and also Rick Impallaria at last year’s Farm Fair here in Harford County. They convinced me to join the Route 40 Republican Club and made me feel right at home.

I will miss him and I will pray for his family. May the Good Lord keep watch over you.
