To paraphrase the FAA, this is no way to run a railroad.

About 4,000 FAA employees are now furloughed without pay, according to the FAA, as the Senate on Friday failed to approve a controversial House-passed extension of taxes that help fund the FAA.

Way to go, Senate. Guess you had much more important things on your mind.

  1. I would think the FAA would be one of the “high priority” agencies to fund ~ certainly much more important than HUD or EPA or DOEducation, but what do I know!
