Next week, on Tuesday December 15th, Congressman Luis V. Gutierrez (D-IL) will introduce new legislation, the Comprehensive Immigration Reform for America’s Security and Prosperity Act of 2009 (CIR ASAP), to the U.S. House of Representatives.
How about, instead of amnesty, we introduce legislation that prevents anchor babies? (Meaning, just having a child born in the U.S. from an illegal immigrant does not extend automatic citizenship to either.)
That would be a start.
